A women-centered river campground in Western Wisconsin.

Materfield is 16 acres of woods, meadow and riverland tucked into the rolling countryside of Western Wisconsin. It feels secluded and wonderfully removed — a place where the landscape seems to change every few steps and the pace of everything slows way down.

It's hard to explain exactly what makes this place feel so special. We hear versions of the same thing from people who come here: there's just something about Materfield.

Materfield is tended but still wild, peaceful without feeling empty. The plants change with the season, wildlife moves through the woods, and even after spending a weekend here, there always seems to be another little corner to discover.

Settle into a hammock and forest bathe beneath the trees. Take a walk through the picturesque wilderness. Wade into the water or climb into a tube for a 30-minute, nature-made lazy river ride that begins and ends right on the property. Head out on a bike along the quiet country roads, or don't go anywhere at all.
